Unfortunately, because of Apple's strict app signing rules, Smart Layouts uses just a free developer certificate instead of a paid Apple Developer Program one. This sometimes makes macOS show a Gatekeeper warning the first time you open it. There's no need to worry, Smart Layouts is completely safe and doesn't collect any personal data. We plan to get a paid developer certificate in the future to eliminate this warning.
